St. John's Island (previously known as Pulau Sekijang Bendara) is located approximately 6.5km south of Singapore. The course site is located on the north-western part of the island. Accommodation facilities are dormitories with shared common bathrooms and toilets. As the location is very close to the equator, the weather is warm and humid with occassional showers. Laundry facilities are limited (only hand-washing is available), so please bring enough clothing for the course.
There are two public ferry services that go to St. John's Island from Marina South Pier.
The indicative cost is about $15 (2023) per person per round-trip. The services are infrequent. As the schedules and costs are subject to change, please refer to these websites for the exact schedules and costs:

If you wish to take the public ferry, please arrive at St. John's Island before 5pm on the day the course begins. Please note that there may not be volunteers to guide you to the actual course site from the St. John's Island jetty.
There are several chartered boat operators located at the Marina South Pier. The indicative cost of a chartered boat to St. John's Island from Marina South Pier is around $90 - $120 per trip. If you wish to hire a charter boat, you will have to make your own arrangement, and please arrive at St. John's Island before 5pm on the day the course begins. Please note that there may not be volunteers to guide you to the actual course site from the St. John's Island jetty.
